I’m a portrait photographer based in Warwickshire.

The top photo is me and my brother when we were young, a photo taken by our Mum. It’s framed and on display in my home. I don’t have many photos like this, showing us just being ourselves. There are holiday snaps that Dad took, now fading in the loft, but I really treasure this one, so many years later.  Since our parents passed away the family photos have become so much more important.  This one has survived because it’s a high quality print, and to me it’s priceless.  This is why I’m a family photographer.  You may fall in love with beautiful family photos now, but their real value comes later. The value increases with the years until they become priceless personal heirlooms – for you, your children & their children.

How does it work?   I will come to you – the images are taken in the familiar surroundings of your garden, home, and your favourite gardens, woods, or other location. The children will relax and have fun – enjoyment which is reflected in the resulting images. You’ll feel comfortable, and the shoot will be in a setting that allows the whole family to be themselves. Authentic images that show your children’s personalities.

Then I’ll show you the carefully edited images and the display options about two weeks later – I have a dedicated room at my home in Studley (near Alcester, Warwickshire) for this. There’s no hard sell. It’s all flexible and stress-free.

I travel throughout the region, and occasionally internationally.  I am a multiple award winning portrait photographer who understands family life and doesn’t mind getting muddy! Discerning parents love my  beautiful images and outstanding service.

I look forward to meeting you and your family. Laurence Jones

“We are all thrilled with the photos. A great experience for a family who used to shy away from photographs! Relaxed, creative and enjoyable. We love the classic framed photos we have – especially the slightly quirky ones. We’ll have you back every year!”
